Casa Valcella is entirely built in local sandstone with floors tiled in cotto toscano and stone. All ceilings retained their original wood beams and cotto flat tile covering, some of them even the original boarding. Where, unfortunately, the original material has gone lost all structures have been carefully replaced with the same type of preexistent components.
There are three apartments in the cottage: Lo Scoiattolo (the squirrel), la Ballerina and l'Istrice (the hedgehog). In the front yard of the latter you will also find a wood oven (optimal for your home baked pizzas) and several barbecues complete with the necessary firewood.
Similarly built in stone, in perfect tuscan fashion, the other cottage I Gemelli offers a large front porch covered with a wood and cotto structure. The cottage is located slighltly up higher from the other and about 150 ft away from it.

The 15 X 24 ft swimming pool, equipped with a solarium, is to be found between the two cottages and is surrounded by a large lawn where you will find umbrellas, sun beds and a playground for the kids.
The cottage "I Gemelli" includes two perfectly identical apartments, Il Ciliegio (the cherry tree) and il Ginepro (the juniper) located one in front of the other, ideal for a couple with one or two kids.
